Inspect

  • All here works for Windows.

  • Get the header: 

    xxd -l 64 <file_path>

  • Find string:

    • The print something if the string was found. 

    strings <file_path> | findstr <the_string>

    findstr /m /c:"<the_string>" <file_path>

  • Dumpbin:

    • With VS2008 Toolset: 

    call "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\Tools\vsvars32.bat"
dumpbin /directives masher\masher.lib
